Info

Each one of our jewelry pieces is handmade by skilled manufacturers. Individual pieces may have minor differences in shape, size or finish. If you are unhappy with the product that you have purchased from https://mara.paris, please contact us.

All Mara jewelry is made of 925 sterling silver. If any other material is used in combination, it is specified in the description of the jewelry. Silver jewelry will eventually lose its shine.

The lifetime of your jewelry depends on how it is stored, how often it is used, your skin’s PH level and your skin type.

To keep your jewelry in best condition and enjoy it longer we recommend:

  • Store each piece individually to avoid scratching
  • Remove them before applying makeup, perfume, hair and skin products
  • Avoid contact with water and chemicals
  • Remove before bathing or showering
  • Clean occasionally by gently wiping preferably with 'Chamois leather' or another clean, dry and soft cloth.

Sizing for each piece is provided in ring size chart. Please look carefully before placing an order.

1. PROPERTY
The website is the property of MARA PARIS in its entirety, as well as all related rights. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, is subject to the authorization of the owners. However, hypertext links to the site are authorized without specific request.

2. ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS
The customer acknowledges having read, at the time of placing the order, the special sales conditions stated on this screen and expressly declares to accept them without reservation. These general terms and conditions of sale govern the contractual relations between MARA PARIS and its customer, both parties accepting them without reservation. These general terms and conditions of sale shall prevail over any other conditions appearing in any other document, unless there is a prior, express, and written derogation.

3. PRODUCTS
Photographs illustrating the products do not fall within the contractual scope. If errors occur, MARA PARIS shall not be liable under any circumstances. Furthermore, the weights indicated on the item descriptions are provided for information purposes and may vary according to ring sizes.

4. ORDER
Automatic recording systems are considered as proof of the nature, content, and date of the order. MARA PARIS confirms the acceptance of its order to the customer at the email address provided by the latter. The sale will only be concluded upon confirmation of the order. MARA PARIS reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute concerning the payment of a previous order. The information provided by the buyer when placing the order commits them: in case of error in the recipient's address details, the seller cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product.

5. DELIVERY
After order confirmation, MARA PARIS undertakes to deliver to its carrier all the references ordered by the buyer within the time frame specified during the purchasing process.

The delivery time indicated on the item description is calculated from the receipt of full payment for the order. This carrier undertakes, by contract with MARA PARIS, to deliver the order to the buyer's address provided by MARA PARIS. Furthermore, for deliveries outside mainland France, the customer undertakes to pay all taxes due on the importation of products, customs duties, value-added tax, and any other taxes due under the laws of the country of receipt of the order.

All orders placed with MARA PARIS are intended for the personal use of customers. Customers or recipients of the products are prohibited from any partial or total resale of the products. MARA PARIS hereby disclaims any legal liability if the payment of taxes is not made by the customer.

Delivery will be made by a specialized carrier. Delivery is made within the agreed time slot with the customer by directly handing over the product to the recipient or their representative against signature, or in case of absence, deposited at the nearest Post Office. The package will then be available for signature pickup at that same office. Any possible delays do not entitle the buyer to claim damages.

Deliveries to countries within the European Economic Area (EEA) and outside the EEA might incur additional charges payable by the customer.

In case of apparent defects, the buyer has the right to return the product under the conditions provided in this document. Events considered as force majeure relieving the seller from its obligation to deliver include war, riot, fire, strikes, accidents, and inability to be supplied.

Always check your package upon arrival. You have 48 hours to make any claims with the carrier in case of missing or damaged items.

6. REFUNDS
You have 30 calendar days from receipt of the items to form an opinion. In case of exchange or refund, return or deposit the unused item(s) in new condition in their original packaging, intact, with all possible accessories and documentation to the following address: Mara Paris 29 Rue Chapon 75003 Paris France.

It is specified that products that have been subject to personalized engraving or specific configuration requested by the customer are neither returned nor exchanged. Products that have undergone initial after-sales service at the customer's request (for resizing or subsequent engraving) are considered accepted by the customer and therefore cannot be returned or exchanged.

In case of exercise of the right of withdrawal, if the jewelry is returned in unused, new condition MARA PARIS is obliged to refund the amounts paid by the customer, free of charge, except for return costs. The refund must be made within a maximum period of 14 days.

Furthermore, it is specified that the right of withdrawal shall not contain any possible exclusion (such as personalized engraving) if the delivered product is not in accordance with the order, in which case MARA PARIS undertakes to fully refund non-compliant products.

7. PRICE
The price is expressed according to the customer's choice of currency. The price indicated in the order confirmation is the final price, including all taxes and including VAT for France and countries of the European Union. This price includes the price of the products, handling, packaging, and storage costs of the products, as well as transport and service charges.

8. PAYMENTS
The price invoiced to the customer is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent by MARA PARIS. The price of the products is payable in full on the day of the effective order. Payment is made by credit card bearing the CB logo or via PayPal.

In case of payment by credit card, your credit card number is directed to the bank's servers, your payment is made directly to a bank in a secure environment without going through the store's server, a guarantee all the more important as your numbers are known only to our banking partner. The order validated by the customer will be considered effective only when the relevant bank payment centers have given their approval.

In case of refusal by said centers, the order will be automatically canceled. Furthermore, MARA PARIS reserves the right to refuse any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute.

9. DISPUTES
This contract is subject to French law. MARA PARIS cannot be held liable for damages of any kind, whether material, immaterial, or bodily, resulting from improper functioning or misuse of the products sold. MARA PARIS's liability shall in any case be limited to the amount of the order and shall not be liable for simple errors or omissions that may have remained despite all precautions taken in the presentation of the products.

In the event of difficulties in applying this contract, the buyer has the option, before any legal action, to seek an amicable solution, in particular with the assistance: of a professional association in the branch, of a consumer association, or any other adviser of their choice. It is reminded that the search for an amicable solution does not interrupt the "brief period" of the legal warranty, nor the duration of the contractual warranty. It is reminded that generally and subject to the appreciation of the Courts, compliance with the provisions of this contract relating to the contractual warranty presupposes that the buyer fulfills their financial obligations towards the seller.

Claims or disputes will always be received with attentive benevolence, good faith being presumed on the part of the person who takes the trouble to expose their situations. In case of dispute, the customer will address the company as a priority to obtain an amicable solution. Failing that, the Commercial Court of Paris has sole jurisdiction, regardless of the place of delivery and the accepted method of payment.

10. WARRANTY
All our products are guaranteed for life against any manufacturing defect. This warranty does not cover wear due to use, breakage, or deformation due to accidental circumstances or improper use. In any case, MARA PARIS cannot be held liable for non-compliance with the regulatory and legislative provisions in force in the country of receipt. MARA PARIS's liability is systematically limited to the value of the product in question, its value at the time of sale, and there is no possibility of recourse against the brand or the product's producing company. In any event, the customer benefits from the legal warranty of eviction and hidden defects (Articles 1625 and following of the Civil Code). Provided that the buyer proves the hidden defect, the seller must legally remedy all consequences (Articles 1641 and following of the Civil Code); if the buyer goes to court, they must do so within a "brief period" from the discovery of the hidden defect (Article 1648 of the Civil Code). You can contact customer service by email at hello@mara.paris.

11. LEGAL INFORMATION
The provision of nominative information collected for distance selling purposes is mandatory, as this information is essential for the processing and routing of orders, the establishment of invoices, and warranty contracts. Failure to provide information results in the non-validation of the order. In accordance with the "Computer and Freedom" law, the processing of nominative information relating to customers has been the subject of a declaration to the National Commission for Information Technology and Freedoms (CNIL). The customer has the right (article 34 of the law of January 6, 1978) to access, modify, rectify, and delete data concerning them, which they can exercise with MARA PARIS. Furthermore, MARA PARIS undertakes not to communicate, free of charge or with consideration, the contact details of its customers to a third party.
